Several new actors have joined the "Percy Jackson" series

The second season of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series is expanding its cast. Rosemarie DeWitt ("The Boys") will play a stylish and mysterious guru, and Alex Paunovic ("Snowpiercer") will play the role of Cyclops Polyphemus. Also joining the series are Beatrice Kitsos ("iZombie") and Kevin Chacón ("Jessica Jones") in the roles of demigods associated with Luke.
The season, based on the second book in Rick Riordan's series, will also introduce new characters including Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Tamara Smart as Thalia, Andra Day as Athena, and the trio of Grey Sisters played by Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, and Kristen Schaal. Courtney B. Vance will replace the late Lance Reddick as Zeus.
The second season is expected to premiere in 2025. Filming is supported by Disney Branded Television and 20th TV. Jonathan E. Steinberg, Rick Riordan serve as executive producers.
