Oscar Isaac voiced Jesus Christ in the new animated movie
Angel Studios, known for the religious thriller "Sound of Freedom", has unveiled the first trailer for the animated feature "The King of Kings". The movie is based on the book "The Life of Our Lord" by Charles Dickens and will tell the story of Jesus Christ. The release of the film in theaters scheduled for April 11.
The main roles were voiced by Oscar Isaac, who gave voice to Jesus, Kenneth Branagh — Charles Dickens, Uma Thurman — Mrs. Dickens, Mark Hamill — Herod, Pierce Brosnan — Pontius Pilate, Forest Whitaker — the apostle Peter, and Ben Kingsley — the high priest Caiaphas.
In the plot, a father tells his son the greatest story of all time, turning a bedtime story into a fascinating journey. The boy, with the help of his imagination, witnesses the life and exploits of Christ, his miracles, trials, and sacrifice. The movie invites viewers to look at the power of hope, love, and redemption through the eyes of a child.
The project was directed by Son-ho Jun, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Rob Edwards. Production was handled by South Korean studio Mofac Animation.


I am especially glad to see Uma on the list of voice actors.
Probably the best solution would be to view it in the original, in English, when the project is released.
