Star Wars Day will delight fans with a new project from Lucasfilm — the animated anthology "Tales of the Underworld". The story centers on two legendary bounty hunters ready to remind why their names are forever inscribed in the history of a galaxy far, far away.
On May 4, 2025, the third season of the short animated film series will launch on Disney+, continuing the tradition of "Tales of the Jedi" and "Tales of the Empire". The new project once again focuses on iconic characters and little-known but key episodes in their lives. The main roles are played by Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane: both find themselves on the edge of the Imperial world, but struggle for their own survival in different ways.
Ventress, a former assassin of the dark side, gets a second chance and goes on the run with an unexpected ally. In parallel, Cad Bane faces his past when he meets an old friend who now serves the law. Their paths take them through dangerous worlds and internal conflicts, and drama becomes the main tone of the season. New characters and old acquaintances will also appear on screen, including Latts Razzi, known from "The Clone Wars".
