A24's "It’s a great film, a very interesting film. It’s very raw, very, very strong, one of the strongest films that I’ve worked on that I really think is going to be fantastic" will screen at the Cannes Film Festival

Cinematographer Darius Khondji has confirmed Ari Aster's "Eddington", starring Joaquin Phoenix ("Joker"), Pedro Pascal ("The Last of Us"), and Emma Stone ("Poor Things"), will participate in the Cannes Film Festival's main program.
"Eddington" is described as a black comedy and western thriller. Joaquin Phoenix played the ambitious sheriff of a small town in New Mexico who confronts the local mayor, played by Pedro Pascal.
"It’s a great film, a very interesting film. It’s very raw, very, very strong, one of the strongest films that I’ve worked on that I really think is going to be fantastic", — told Darius Khondji.
Currently, the picture is in the final stages of post-production. The cameraman said that he will soon return to New York to complete color correction before the premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
