Scott Gimple plans to bring back the popular "The Walking Dead" spin-off

"The Walking Dead" universe executive producer and showrunner Scott Gimple has stated his desire to revive the anthology "Tales of the Walking Dead", whose first and so far only season was released in 2022.
The anthology consisted of six separate episodes featuring well-known actors such as Anthony Edwards, Terry Crews, and Daniella Pineda, but then there was no follow-up to the project.
"I'm desperate to do more of those. We don't have imminent plans to do it, but I'm constantly, constantly, constantly bringing it up. It's a more challenging show because of the variety, because you're starting at zero every episode. So that's one thing that's sort of slowing it down a little bit. But I always keep it in the mix as a possibility", — Gimple told The Direct.
Currently, the universe is evolving with projects such as "The Walking Dead: Dead City", "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon", and "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live". Gimple also noted that he plans to tell many more new stories, including those featuring beloved characters from the past.
if there are any interesting scenario developments, why not apply them in spin-offs about Daryl, or with other iconic characters.🧐
And since people who have not been bitten also end up turning into zombies, it follows that this virus is transmitted by airborne droplets or through water.
Back in the TV series "The Walking Dead: The World Beyond," there is a scene where they showed a French medical institution with a phrase written on the walls that translates as "the dead are born here."
The bottom line is that the virus got out of the laboratory, but it's not clear which one - in France or in the USA.
There was a laboratory there, which then self-destructed at the end of the series because it ran out of resources to keep it running, and there were a lot of viruses and bacteria inside, and it was programmed to self-destruct in this case. A couple of people from Rick's team decided to die inside because they didn't see the point in continuing to live like this.
Well, yes, it didn't say in plain text that the virus was straight from here, but these are some hints.
