7 iconic actions that turned out to be brilliant

"Demolition Man"
Crime, action, sci-fi | 3.95 out of 5 on MyShows | 1993

"It's surprising to revisit the movie after all these years and see here a California soy woke utopia where two toxically masculine men from the 90s happen to be. Nice humor and satire that, oh horror, is getting closer and closer to reality. In place are the very shells and virtual sex as the only two elements that have not evaporated from memory in 20+ years In place are two charismatic men and the always beautiful Sandy Bee. The movie is very well preserved and looks great in 2025. The only thing is that the soundtrack is dull, except of course for the most popular radio in San Angeles, where 24 by 7 commercial jingles are played. Already, probably, can be recorded in the classics of the genre", — ekko

"This is probably my favorite movie so far. There are moments where you can laugh heartily. Also included are scenes where you watch the main characters and their next decisions with bated breath. I recommend everyone to watch this masterpiece of a sci-fi comedy thriller", — KatieSenorita

"Due to the fact that this movie has been re-watched on cassette tape so many times, it's no surprise that I caught a crash on Brendan Fraser as a kid. But if you step away from the gg, the movie itself is very well made and you plunge into the atmosphere as if you were in this desert yourself. And some scrimmers with mummies scared the shit out of me in my childhood. Arnold Voslu, who played Imhotep - top! But, unfortunately, the other parts didn't hook me as much as the first one. Despite the beautiful love story between O'Connell and Evelyn 🤍 ", — loremipsum

Blood sport has a joke when it turned out that all this about Dukes is fiction, not real events :)
And The Mummy is not interested)
I don't think I've only watched Blood Sports and Running. And that's not accurate. CTC showed 100%.
I'm still thinking of arranging a week of Shaking the earth, as TV channels used to do. Moreover, I did not watch the last 3 parts. Maybe you shouldn't, of course...
We recently discussed the remake of Tremor with @Hidji. The creators of the original have regained the rights and are negotiating with Bacon. it remains only to wait. they promise a direct continuation of the first part, ignoring 2-7🥲
But the movies are all cool!
And I still listen to the soundtrack sometimes.
Angel of the sea and hammers with axes in the background)
Well, they don't take it off anymore)))
Great selection!
In the 80s, it was a celebration of testosterone: one hero, a bunch of enemies, everything explodes — "Rambo", "Commando", "Cobra".
In the 90s, jokes and charisma were added - let's recall "Die Hard" and "Lethal Weapon".
2000s — the era of style and stunts: "The Matrix", "Born", "Mission Impossible".
Now action movies have become darker, more realistic, and more socially charged—like "John Wick" or "Sicario." The plot has become more complicated, the characters are more traumatized, and the morality is ambiguous.
It seems that the genre has matured along with the audience.
I can't even single out some of them, because every movie is good in its own way. I wanted to review everything from the list.
Have a nice viewing experience!
