Stars lie and Charlie sees everything: "Poker Face" season 2 trailer released

Natasha Lyonne returns to the role of Charlie Cale, who can unmistakably recognize lies. In the sequel, the heroine awaits new cases, traveling across America, and meeting dozens of celebrities — from Giancarlo Esposito to John Cho.

Peacock has released a full trailer for the second season of crime comedy "Poker Face". The show starring Natasha Lyonne as truth-teller Charlie Cale will return on May 8 — with three new episodes at once. The season will have a total of 12 episodes, with the finale airing on July 10.

In the second season, Charlie will continue to travel the country and face new suspects. Judging by the trailer, she will have a whole parade of star guests: Giancarlo Esposito, Cynthia Erivo, Katie Holmes, John Mulaney, Kumail Nanjiani, Alia Shawkat, Justin Theroux, Melanie Lynskey, Awkwafina, Method Man, Taylor Schilling appeared in the frame. Special attention in the video was paid to John Cho, who in the final scene challenges Charlie's abilities.

The series is built on the scheme of "reverse detective": the audience from the beginning knows who is guilty, and the intrigue is built on how the heroine will prove it. The creator of the series is Rian Johnson ("Knives Out").

I fell in love with Natasha Lyonne from the Matryoshka Doll. The pokerface is very cool in terms of the picture, dynamics, and plot. Natasha is just incredibly charismatic, I'm glad that already in May, it will be possible to watch the second season)

It's a good series, but for some reason I got tired of watching it, and it's kind of intriguing, but it's kind of a trick for the sake of the trick. It doesn't make sense. I love Matryoshka more)) Especially the first one, beauty.
