A group of friends who are not yet doing well as adults will be the heroes of a new TV series.

FX has a new sitcom "Adults" coming to the channel that follows the lives of five friends who are just learning how to be adults. The series starts airing on FX with two episodes on May 28, and the next day the entire first season of eight episodes will be available on Hulu. Further episodes will be released each week.

The action is set in Samir's childhood home, where he lives with Billie, Paul Bake, Issa, and Anton. They share everyday life, anxieties and even toothbrushes as they try to cope with their first adult challenges: careers, dating, health problems and trying to organize a regular dinner. Starring Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer ("Vampire Academy"), Jack Innanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Thiele. Guests for the first season will include Charlie Cox ("Marvel's Daredevil"), Julia Fox, D'Arcy Carden ("The Good Place"), and John Reynolds ("Stranger Things").

Screenplay and showrunning is by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, for whom this is their debut feature. Production is handled by FX Productions.
