5 movies that smell like grass, summer, and childhood

"Dad 2: Grandfather"
Comedy, drama | Russia | Evie | 4.15 out of 5 on MyShows
Summer, village, 1990s. During his divorce from his wife, Max recalls one summer from his childhood: when his parents, on the verge of breaking up, sent him to the village to visit his grandfather, a front-line soldier. Then the harsh but fair grandfather became for the boy not only a mentor, but also the best friend, sharing with him pranks, important discoveries, and the first lessons of life.
In the movie "Dad 2: Grandfather" actor Yevgeny Tsyganov, who at the time of filming was 46 years old, played the role of a 76-year-old grandfather. To create a convincing image, the team of six makeup artists daily worked on his transformation, which took up to two and a half hours.

"The Parent Trap"
Family, comedy, romance | USA | Netflix | 4.32 out of 5 on MyShows
Hallie Parker lives with her caring father in sunny California, while her age-mate Annie James lives with her loving mother in foggy London. Both girls dream of the parent they've never known: Hallie of her mom, Annie of her dad. When fate brings them together at summer camp, they unexpectedly learn the most important thing — they are twin sisters who were once separated after their parents divorced. Deciding that it's time to make things right, the girls switch places: one flies to London, the other to America. Their great con begins, and the parents don't even realize that they are trapped by their own children.
The movie is a remake of the 1961 picture of the same name, which, in turn, is based on the novel "Lisa and Lottie" by Erich Kästner. Interestingly, actress Joanna Barnes starred in both films: in the original she played the role of the father's evil bride, while in the remake she played her mother, and both characters went by the name Vicky.

For actress AnnaSophia Robb the role of Opal was the first appearance in a feature film. Her work received positive reviews and was the beginning of a successful acting career.

The trap for parents is bigger with autumn and winter. Apparently , when they were played on STS 😂
This is the first time I've heard about the rest.
It's also like Lassie movies smell like summer and the Road home. Oddly enough, everything is with animals 😅
There are so many recommendations for the films Batya and Batya2:Grandfather, I'll probably add it to my next viewing.
But the parent trap caused ambiguous emotions, I could never understand how a parent could completely abandon their child. After all, Parker hadn't asked about Annie's life in so many years, and James had given up on Holly. The sisters did not know each other, did not grow up together, one might say, orphans with living parents. It is clear that the parents divorced, but this is not a reason to exclude their second child from their lives.
