Michael Madsen, star of "Reservoir Dogs" and "Kill Bill", has died at age 67

Hollywood is mourning Michael Madsen, who passed away Thursday at the age of 67. The actor, known for Quentin Tarantino's films "Reservoir Dogs", "Kill Bill", "The Hateful Eight", and "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood", was found unconscious at his Malibu home after a 911 call. A representative for the actor confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Immediately following the news of his passing, stars and family shared touching words of remembrance. Michael's sister, actress Virginia Madsen, posted a photo of him and their mother, writing:
"We’re not mourning a public figure. We’re not mourning a myth — but flesh and blood and ferocious heart. Who stormed through life loud, brilliant, and half on fire. Who leaves us echoes — gruff, brilliant, unrepeatable — half legend, half lullaby. I’ll miss our inside jokes, the sudden laughter, the sound of him. I’ll miss the boy he was before the legend; I miss my big brother".
Sharon Stone expressed her condolences in the comments:
"My sincere condolences to you and your family".
Colleagues also remembered Madsen warmly. Walton Goggins ("The Hateful Eight") posted a photo with the actor and signed:
"Michael Madsen… this man… this artist… this poet… this rascal… Fucking ICON…. Aura like no one else. Ain’t enough words so I’ll just say this…. I love you buddy. A H8TER forever".
Jennifer Tilly called him "one of the favorite actors she ever worked with", while Billy Baldwin wrote:
"Fitting that Michael Madsen would pass away on 4th of July weekend. He was no firecracker… a total stick of dynamite on screen and in life. Rest easy my friend".
I would like to add another Stealers Wheel song here-Stuck In The Middle With You. To make it come back to you faster )
