The spin-off of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" will be filmed on behalf of Chief Bromden

On the CK Café podcast, legendary producer Saul Zaentz's nephew Paul shared that he recently signed a deal with Ken Kesey's widow (the author of the original novel) to develop a TV series. The first season will show events from the Chief's point of view and then tell what happened after his escape from a mental hospital.
Kesey's original novel was very different from Miloš Forman's movie, which was released in 1975. The author was unhappy that the movie did not convey the view of the Chief, a half-breed Indian pretending to be a deaf-mute. He was played by Will Sampson in the movie, and the role of the rebellious McMurphy went to Jack Nicholson.
Prior to the announced project, the only official offshoot of the story was the Netflix series "Ratched", about Nurse Mildred, but it was shut down after the first season.
Zaentz also confirmed that "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" will return to screens in over a thousand US theaters this month to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. He also said, he's skeptical of remakes of iconic films, but admits that TV series give more room for character development.
But I don't even know that... The idea is strange
This is how everything was told in the original story on behalf of the Leader. So, it turns out, they'll just take it off according to the book)
Spiders and Batman are being adopted 10 times, but here it's still a different format.
