Hulu is officially working on a pilot for the reboot of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Kingston Vernes will play Carson, a popular student at New Sunnydale Academy, who is attracted to the new huntress Nova, the heroine of actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

The lead role of the huntress went to Ryan Kiera Armstrong ("Firestarter"). The project also brings back Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is not only producing the show, but will also reappear as Buffy Summers. Faly Rakotohavana, Ava Jean, Sarah Bock, Daniel Di Tomasso, and Jack Cutmore-Scott are also announced in the cast.

The pilot is being directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, with the script written by sisters Nora and Lilla Zuckerman. The reboot is being developed by 20th Television and Searchlight TV Studios as a new chapter of the Buffyverse. If the project gets the greenlight, production will continue in the spring of 2026.

@_Nala_: Plus, I watched an interview with Masters, who played Spike, and he said that a comeback was impossible, for the simple reason that actors, unlike vampires, unfortunately age.
Imho, if they don't beat his aging in any way, then we won't see a sexy Spike.
