The series starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law will screen at the Toronto Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced a Primetime program dedicated to television premieres. For the first time on the big screen will show the series "Black Rabbit" with Jason Bateman and Jude Law, thriller "Wayward" with Toni Collette and comedian Mae Martin, as well as FX drama "The Lowdown", where Ethan Hawke played a lonely journalist. All three projects will be released on streaming services as early as September, but viewers will see them first at TIFF — September 4—14.
In Netflix's "Black Rabbit", Law and Bateman play brothers who open a New York restaurant that quickly becomes a hot spot in the city. "Wayward" will tell the story of a mysterious woman and two men drawn into a dangerous game. And in "The Lowdown", Hawke plays the role of an uncompromising journalist investigating corruption in his hometown.
In addition to feature series, the program included a documentary project "Origin: The Story of the Basketball Africa League" from the producers of the NBA and Richard Brown. Also in Primetime are HBO's first Italian drama "The Fall of Enzo Tortora" by Marco Bellocchio, Hungarian historical saga "Rise of the Raven", Norwegian comedy "A Sámi Wedding", and BBC's British thriller "Reunion", set in a deaf community. All screenings are accompanied by discussions with the creators and actors.
Series are finally starting to conquer festivals!
