Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett have joined the second season of "Rivals" on Disney+

Disney+ has announced the cast additions for the second season of "Rivals", the adaptation of Jilly Cooper's novels. Hayley Atwell ("Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning", "Agent Carter") and Rupert Everett ("My Best Friend's Wedding") have joined the project.
Atwell will play the role of Helen Gordon, Rupert Campbell-Black's ex-wife and mother of his children. Everett will play Malise Gordon, a show jumping mentor and Helen's new husband. Maxim Ays, Holly Cattle, Oliver Dench are also announced among the new members of the project.
The events of the series unfold in the glossy world of British television in the 1980s and the picturesque Cotswold hills. Returning to the cast are David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Katherine Parkinson, and Victoria Smurfit.

They should have released the second season as soon as possible, otherwise it's already been a year, and they're just recruiting actors.
