The sequel to the Hulu detective comedy is rumored to move the action from New York City to the UK — for the first time in the series' history.

Hulu's hit "Only Murders in the Building" is gearing up for a change of scenery: according to Deadline, the sixth season may be filmed in London. After the characters' California adventure in the previous season, podcasters Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) will head overseas to investigate a new crime.

The season five finale, which airs on October 28, allegedly hints at the trio's impending move. So far, there's no official confirmation about the show's renewal, but sources note that a decision is expected soon, given the project's high ratings.

The move to London will be the first time the story will leave the US. The authors promise to keep the atmosphere of the old New York building Arconia, but add British flavor. The series is created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, and among the producers are Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Dan Fogelman.

It's a pity if they move it, the whole point is in this building,

@stellary: now I want a crossover between these series, where a trio of podcast detectives come to some Swedish branch of Lotus to take a break from investigations, a murder takes place there, and Emily, who came with Sylvia on business, becomes the main witness. Or a suspect :D

@stellary: It sounds like another dream crossover, and I can imagine how in the beginning both "teams" try to get ahead of each other and solve the murder first, but then they realize that it's better to work together, and everything ends in a happy ending. And a reserve for the sequel 😄

Although I usually like one setting, sometimes a change of scenery is just necessary.
It's cool to have everything connected to the building, but seeing the cast in another place will be just wonderful
to add some variety.

There were fears that the series would be shut down after the fifth season, and what a blessing that we had a new victim at the end, which means there will be a 6th season! And where it will be filmed is not so important, the main thing is that it should be shot with the same humor, cool favorite characters and also colorfully!
