Monday, May 11 — "Inspector Gavrilov"

Season 3 / Comedy / Start

Hoping to escape his criminal past, repeat offender Sasha Medny takes on one last job. However, the robbery goes wrong, and, fleeing from his pursuers, he boards a train to Vladivostok. On the way, Medny assumes the identity of his compartment neighbor—Major Gavrilov. Thus, the former con artist unexpectedly becomes the police chief of the provincial town of Ust-Shakhtinsk.

In the third season, Sasha Medny will continue to hide under the name of Major Gavrilov while simultaneously dealing with the consequences of his double life. The hero will face off against the mysterious Voron—an influential thief-in-law. New criminal intrigues, old secrets, and the appearance of dangerous characters will once again threaten his position in Ust-Shakhtinsk.

Monday, May 11 — "Tucci in Italy"

Season 2 / Documentary / National Geographic Channel

Actor Stanley Tucci travels through various regions of Italy, showing how local cuisine is connected to the history, culture, and way of life of the country’s inhabitants.

In the second season of this culinary documentary series, Tucci will visit Naples and Campania, Sicily, Sardinia, Veneto, and the Marche region, meeting locals, chefs, fishermen, and artisans. The creators promise a more personal and in-depth look at Italy’s regions—from debates over the origins of dishes to little-known culinary traditions.

Tuesday, May 12 — "Devil May Cry"

Season 2 / Action, Fantasy, Horror / Netflix

A portal begins to open between the human and demonic worlds, after which demon hunter Dante gradually learns that the fate of both worlds is tied to him.

In the second season, the story becomes much more personal: the central conflict will be the confrontation between Dante and his twin brother Vergil. The new season will focus on their past, a family tragedy, and the reasons why the brothers ended up on opposite sides of the conflict.

May 13, Wednesday — "Good Omens"

Season 3 / Action, Comedy, Fantasy / Amazon Prime

The angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley have been living among humans for centuries, each fulfilling their destiny. Aziraphale tries to guide people toward the path of good, while Crowley pushes them toward temptation and sin. Over time, the eternal adversaries have not only grown accustomed to each other but have become true friends.

The main theme of the new episode will be the Second Coming and a new threat of the apocalypse. The heroes will have to unite once again, despite the conflict between them. Initially, the third season was planned as a full-fledged continuation, but in the end, it was shortened to a single 90-minute finale that will conclude the story of Aziraphale and Crowley.

Wednesday, May 13 — “A New Man in a New Era” / Haantjes

Season 2 / Comedy / Netflix

Four friends find themselves in a situation where traditional notions of “masculinity” no longer apply. The world around them is changing rapidly, women are becoming more independent and successful, and the characters try to figure out how to move forward while keeping their jobs, relationships, and self-esteem.

If the first season was about “confronting a new reality,” the second focuses on the consequences of those decisions. Attempts to “reinvent themselves” lead to new comedic situations.

Thursday, May 14 — "Welcome to Wrexham"

Season 5 / Comedy, Drama, Sports / FX

In 2020, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney acquired the Welsh soccer club Wrexham—one of the oldest professional clubs in the world. The actors set out to draw attention to the club and transform it from a perennial underdog into a team with a global fan base. However, there’s a crucial catch: neither Reynolds nor McElhenney has any experience in soccer management, and at first, they have little idea how to run a professional club.

The club has already climbed through the leagues, so in the fifth season, it faces a battle to establish itself at a higher level of English soccer, attempts not just to rise but to hold its own among stronger teams, as well as squad strengthening and the pressure of expectations.

Thursday, May 14 — "The Hardacres"

Season 2 / Drama / Channel 5

19th century, Yorkshire. The Hardacre family lives in poverty and works on the fish docks, barely making ends meet. After an accident at work, the family suddenly loses its income and finds itself on the brink of destitution. To survive, they take a risky step—investing their last money in their own business.

In the new season, the action shifts to 1895, and life around the family begins to change rapidly: electricity arrives, new ideas and social views emerge, and society becomes more modern and unstable.

Thursday, May 14 — "On the Roam"

Season 2 / Adventure, Travel / Max

Jason Momoa embarks on a journey across the country, meeting people who live by their own rules and forge their own paths—from artisans and engineers to motorcycle builders, musicians, and athletes.

In the second season, the journey becomes more “personal” for Momoa—he doesn’t just observe, but actively participates, learns, and tries his hand at the crafts himself.

Friday, May 15 — "Rivals"

Season 2 / Drama, Romance / Disney+

Tony Boddingham, who runs an independent British TV company, and his neighbor Rupert Campbell-Black—a former Olympian, Member of Parliament, and notorious womanizer—are locked in a constant rivalry. Over time, their conflict escalates and becomes increasingly tense and dangerous. Gradually, not only they themselves but also their wives, mistresses, colleagues, and close friends are drawn into the conflict, causing their personal feud to escalate into a vast web of intrigue and devastating consequences.

In the second season, the conflict between Tony and Rupert goes beyond personal rivalry and turns into a power struggle in the media and politics. Their confrontation becomes increasingly destructive, affecting the businesses, reputations, and social circles of both men.

Friday, May 15 — "Bet on Love"

Season 2 / Reality / Friday

"Bet on Love" is an extreme reality show in which celebrity couples undergo challenges that test their relationships and trust. Contestants place “bets” on their partners, trying to predict whether they will succeed in the task. Correct predictions earn them immunity, while mistakes lead to a nomination for elimination. In the finale, only one couple wins and receives a cash prize.

Among the participants in the second season are Marat Basharov and Asya Borisova, Irakli Pirtskhalava and Elena Grebenshchikova, Anna Hilkevich and Artur Martirosyan, as well as Evgeny Ershov and Anna Prolygina.

Inspector Gavrilov, finally!
What took so long to delay the release of the third season? We've been waiting since March, endlessly postponing deadlines, apparently we didn't have time to finish editing something...
It's a pity that it's planned to be the last, the story turned out to be very beautiful.
One of our best projects, I think. Even in places it resembles some similar American TV series about the hinterland, like Escape or the King of Tulsa)

@lady_kana: lol, I'm going because of the election theme in the season in the election year. They shouldn't have gotten into this, for the same reason, we seem to have already sent several series to the shelf.
It's going to be a good week, there's so much going on.

I'm going to watch "Good Omens" and "The Devil Can Cry."

It's a long list, but only Gavrilov and DMC are mine. Yes, "Good Omens" is still a movie, I don't consider it as the third season. Let's see what else they've done without Pratchett.

@mrbradshaw: Oh, so the creators themselves brought out the second season in a separate project, the issue is resolved. But their logic is strange, of course.
From the list, only the Devil can cry
I didn't have time to blink, as the devil is already season 2.

We need to look at the Good Omens, although there is clearly already little of Pratchett, and Gaiman has probably been moved.
Is Inspector Gavrilov the last season? Then it's time to start watching.

I'm going to try "A new man in a new time" because a few days ago I thought again that I should take on some kind of comedy or crime Dutch/Dutch project. Maybe he will be the one who will enter the mainstream.

"Hardacres" took note. I have a special interest in family dramatic lines in a historical setting.

I haven't started "Good Omens" yet, but I've already seen and loved the clips about Crowley and Aziraphale.

In general, a lot of things from the list sound very tempting. However, not everything is in time.

My favorite Good Omens, of course I will study the selection further now, but so far I am waiting only for them, and I have been waiting for a very long time. How do I hope that my beloved angel and demon will be given a good ending despite all the scandals, cancellations and the fact that they have lost the creator of the original source in direct access

@wsmiller26: I took away more rivals, because of Tennant + I'll try a new man in a new time (I'm trying to drag myself into sitcoms, it doesn't work). I also thought about "on the road", but why would I need a road movie with Jason Mamoa when I have a road movie with my beloved Norman Reedus, and I wouldn't say that this is my favorite format, so it's probably a skip, the rest is all over

Have a good week. There is a feeling that it's time to start watching Wrexham and Good Omens.

Also in the deferred DmC. I just bought the HD Collection a month ago. There is a desire to both play and watch.

The first season, the rivals have been in the "I will" for a long time, maybe I'll get to the end of the second.
BN should be watched, but after such a previous season, there is no desire at all ...
the Hardacres are interested, but for now they are also going to the rubber.

In general, it's a great week to continue, you can sort something out.

"Good omens" and "Rivals". It's a pity that the third season collapsed to one film and, please, bring back the bromance without romance.
"Rivals" is a well-shot movie, and the soundtrack is something.

I am very glad and saddened that the series Good Omens is ending, I have been waiting for so many years for it to come out, and now it's kind of sad that so little, I will definitely watch, and of course I watched a couple more series from the selection.
