Netflix has announced the return of the "Money Heist" franchise

The streaming service has confirmed that it will continue to develop one of its most popular non-English-language series. The announcement was made ahead of the premiere of the series *Berlin and the Lady with the Ermine*.

Netflix has officially announced the return of the *Money Heist* universe. The company released a teaser for the new project and held a promotional event in Seville. Details about the new project are still under wraps.

A boat carrying people in red jumpsuits and Salvador Dalí masks sailed down the Guadalquivir River to the song “Bella Ciao.” During the event, Álvaro Morte, who played the Professor, confirmed the franchise’s continued development. Netflix has not specified whether this involves a continuation of the main storyline, a new spin-off, or a separate series within the "Money Heist" universe .Foreign media report that the streaming service is considering several options for expanding the franchise following the success of the prequel "Berlin."

The original "Money Heist" aired from 2017 to 2021 and became one of Netflix’s biggest international hits. The franchise was created by Álex Pina. After the main series concluded, the streaming service also released a Korean adaptation.

For me, it was like he moved to Netflix, I watched the last season first for 1.5, then just a retelling to find out the finale and such nonsense, to be honest
Berlin also quit, it's not about theft, but about relationships.
The first two seasons are good for me, then it's such a mess.
Guns are pointed at each other and you don't believe that someone will shoot.

I hope this will not be a direct sequel and the third robbery of the old team, but something else with new characters. Nevertheless, the series ended normally and I don't want the characters to get involved in a new robbery with the only plot justification "we need to milk the series." Plus, almost everyone who sympathized with me there is dead in the story.…

I don't want a direct sequel/ new season, the main series, but it ended normally. But some kind of another spin-off about one of the characters, it would be quite possible to watch.
You can do the same as with Yellowstone, a bunch of different spin-offs.

I thought that we could make a TV series about Berlin's son, for example. He and Berlin's ex-wife are also robbers. I don't know if it will be interesting, but such an idea came to my mind.
