Apple TV+ has renewed "Margo's Got Money Troubles" for a second season

The season 1 finale won’t air until May 20, 2026, but the streaming service has already ordered a second season. The new episodes will feature an original story—the first season was almost entirely based on the novel by Rufe Thorpe.

Apple TV+ and A24 have officially renewed *Margo's Got Money Troubles* for a second season. Series creator David E. Kelley and writer Eva Anderson, who will now serve as co-showrunner, will once again be working on the sequel. A start date for filming has not yet been announced.

Margot Millie is a young mother who finds herself broke and starts making money on a paid content platform. At the same time, she tries to mend her relationship with her father, a former wrestler. The series stars Elle Fanning (The Great), Michelle Pfeiffer (The River Madison), and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation).

The first season premiered on April 15, 2026, and received a 97% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The series is produced by Apple TV+ and A24 in collaboration with Lewellen Pictures and Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films.

Basically, after watching half of the season, I can say that I liked the series. It may not reveal anything mega new, but it's easy to watch, the music is very good. Let's see where the story goes next.

I watched a couple of episodes and now I'm waiting for all the episodes to be watched without interruptions. You can watch the first episodes, the episodes are short, and it's quite suitable for one evening.

I watch the series, and something keeps coming back to it, but Margot was really annoying at first. Her infantilism and accusations of everyone treated her as if everyone should help her with the child, although this is entirely her decision (I remember the vile father of the child).
It seems that he may be popular now (I don't know, I haven't seen him much on social media), but in a couple of months they will definitely forget about him....
