Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have released the final trailer for the movie *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. The film will be released internationally on July 31, 2026. It was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also directed “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”
The film takes place several years after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” when the whole world has forgotten Peter Parker’s true identity. The hero continues to defend New York on his own, but faces a new threat that forces him to rethink his usual methods of fighting crime. The final trailer also reaffirms that the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal, will play a significant role in the story. At the same time,Marvel still hasn’t revealed who Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”)is playing, keeping one of the film’s main plot secrets under wraps.
Tom Holland reprises his role as the lead, alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, John Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Sadie Sink. The screenplay was written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who worked on the previous Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland. *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* will be the fourth standalone film about the hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and part of its Phase Six.
