The first trailer for the movie "Jumanji 3" has been released
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for *Jumanji 3*—the third installment in the modern series and the fifth film in the franchise. The film is set to premiere on December 25, 2026. Jake Kasdan, who directed *Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle* and *Jumanji: The Next Level*,returns as director .
In this new installment, the game’s avatars find themselves in the real world for the first time. Dr. Bravestone, Professor Sheldon Oberon, Franklin Finbar, and Ruby Roundhouse escape from Jumanji and find themselves “stuck” outside the game world. The heroes must return the characters to the game and restore the boundary between reality and the virtual world. During the adventure, the characters once again swap bodies with members of Spencer’s group.
Dwayne Johnson (“Moana”), Kevin Hart (“Central Intelligence”), Jack Black (“Anaconda”), and Karen Gillan (“Doctor Who”)have returned to their roles. The film also stars Burn Gorman (“Enola Holmes”), Nasim Pedrad (“Aladdin”), Bibi Newwert (“Julia”), Lamorn Morris (“Spider-Noir”), and Marin Hinkle (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”).
The film will be the final installment in the modern trilogy: back in 2023, Kevin Hart said that the next film would be the last for the current cast, and the first trailer is accompanied by the tagline “One Last Game.” During the project’s presentation at CinemaCon, Dwayne Johnson also revealed that the film will feature the original die from the 1995*Jumanji* —a tribute to Robin Williams.

No, that's right, the fifth one. There is also the movie "Zatura: Space Adventure / Zathura: A Space Adventure" (2005, dir. John Favreau).
It is based on the book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg, which is a sequel to his book "Jumanji" (yes, yes, the first film suddenly has a literary source). And the working title during the filming process for "Zatura" was "Jumanji 2".
