DC has scrapped the series about Booster Gold
The"Booster Gold" series will not be produced. Screenwriter David Jenkins ("Our Flag Means Death") announced that his version of the project "will not be moving forward." A few weeks earlier, he had said that he had finished the script for the pilot episode and submitted it to DC Studios.
Jenkins did not explain the reasons for the project’s cancellation. Instead, he quoted a recent interview with Mahershala Ali, who, speaking about the movie “Blade,” said: “If the studio wanted to make this movie, it would have made it.” The screenwriter clarified that he was referring specifically to his version of *Buster Gold*. DC Studios has not yet officially announced the cancellation of the series, and it’s possible that development of the project will continue with a new creative team.
James Gunn and Peter Safran announced the series’ development in January 2023, including it in the first chapter of the revamped DC Extended Universe. The main character was supposed to be Michael John Carter—an athlete from the 25th century who travels back in time and, using future technology, becomes a superhero. Before Jenkins, Danny McBride had been working on the series, but his version also never made it to production.

Booster Gold is a superhero from DC comics. His real name is Michael John Carter, he hails from the 25th century.
He has no superpowers: strength, flight and protection are given to him by futuristic gadgets that he took from the museum, for example, a power suit, a ring of flight of the Legion of Superheroes and a robot assistant Skeets.
At first, Booster wanted fame and used his knowledge of the future to effectively save people and become a star. Over time, he matured and became a real hero. He often appears in a pair with the Blue Beetle — they have a great duet in contrast to the characters.
He can also be found in animated series ("Justice League", "Batman: The Brave and the Bold") and in the TV series "Legends of Tomorrow".||||
