A new teaser for Ridley Scott's film "The Dog Stars" has been released

20th Century Studios has released a new teaser for the film *The Dog Stars*. The film is set to premiere on August 28, 2026. The film stars Jacob Elordi (“Wuthering Heights”), Josh Brolin (“Dune”), and Margaret Qualley (“Substance”).

After a pandemic wiped out most of humanity, former pilot Hig lives at an abandoned airfield with former Marine Bangley and his faithful dog. Upon hearing a mysterious radio signal, the protagonist sets off in a plane to search for other survivors, hoping to find a new life beyond the confines of his familiar refuge.

The film was directed by Ridley Scott (“Gladiator”), and the screenplay was written by Mark L. Smith, based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Peter Heller. The cast also includes Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong, and Allison Janney. The film is produced by 20th Century Studios in association with Scott Free Productions.
