"Pitt Hospital" won an Emmy for Best Drama Series for the second time

The TVseries "Pitt's Hospital" won an Emmy in the "Outstanding Drama Series" category for the second year in a row. Noah Wyle also won the “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” award for the second time for his role as Dr. Rabinovich. "Pitt Hospital" became the first drama since "Mad Men" to win the top category within its first two seasons.
"Widows' Cove" won in the comedy series category. Matthew Rhys set a separate record this year: he became the first actor to win two awards for leading roles at a single ceremony. In addition to his Emmy for “Widows’ Cove,” he also won the award for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries, Anthology Series, or TV Movie” for “The Monster Inside Me.”
In total, “Widows’ Cove” won 14 Emmys over two nights—six at the main ceremony and another eight at the Creative Arts Emmys. This is a new record for a comedy series: the show surpassed the achievement of *The Studio*, which had won 13 awards the previous year.
The Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series was awarded to Sally Field for her performance in *Extraordinary Creatures*. Field became the oldest winner in this category: the actress will turn 80 in November.

But what about my rubble? 😭😭
First of all, it's a comedy, and the actors there play their role superbly. In terms of acting, it's clearly the best series on a par with Pitt. It's just Pitt, it's completely different.
And I don't even know what to compare the Bay with. Probably only with some kind of funny Supernatural episode, unless)
I hope to get out of dramas and Turkish works of art someday.
Because they hit the nail on the head this year.
Bay of Widows was interested in an interesting trailer, not a rating and 14 emmys. This is for an example
This is another example.
It turns out they can. I actually didn't watch much of the nominees this year, I was just trying, and when I didn't watch everything, it's very difficult to evaluate the picture as a whole, so it turns out only two mistakes - well, it's not bad, I thought I'd guess less)
And I like "Pitt Hospital," but I'm so glad that they've withdrawn themselves from the background because of the separation of voices. It's annoying when one series is shoved into these nominations in bundles to get the nominations. How I screamed when I saw Allison Janney with the award, and especially Tom Pelfrey! """" I haven't watched" "Assignment" yet, but I love Pelfrey from "Banshee" and "Ozark", I drowned for him as much as I could. 🫰
" " " " I watched a lot of the presented series, " " Pitt Hospital " was expectedly pleased, and " Bay of Widows " was just great , and they noted the gorgeous role of Matthew Rhys in " The Monster Inside Me " !
A very interesting project, like " GKS. St. Louis " also did not forget to mention
In general, we were very pleased with the results of the ceremony 🎉
Best Actress in a Miniseries, Anthology, or TV Movie: Sally Field, "Extraordinarily Intelligent Creatures"
Yes, but...
It's just a pity Hunnam got a ride with the award, but the Emmy has long been about objectivity.
I was let down by actors in miniskirts, I didn't believe in the double luck of one, and the other just wasn't on the ballot. Well, damn it! I had too much faith in Zendaya.😬
I haven't watched "tricks", but according to the reviews, I was waiting for them to finally be awarded in a comedy.
But I wasn't looking, so I trusted the soulless machine. 😁
P.S. Maybe the answer depended on the date. I asked a couple of days before the start of the Emmy.
"No," I said.
"I don't see it either, but it's there."
After all, I've already written what the motivation is - to try to guess the logic of Hollywood filmmakers. and what kind of logic they have, we have observed over the past 10 years, and this is exactly what I wrote about right away, namely DEI. and before we talk about changes and changing trends, let's, as I said, wait for the Oscars first and see if that's really the case, or if it's just a system failure here. and even more so, you don't have to come up with some kind of attempt to trigger anyone.
I explained to you about the "adequate ones" and how I understood it, of course I can't guess your thoughts (there will be no achievements for this) and wrote approximately. If something doesn't suit you, you can always fix it, which you did.
I guessed 7 out of 10 in the voting, which is a good result, I think.
field so that those who know everything can answer themselves calmly and not be nervous in the comments after)))
I even forgot that Zinaida was nominated 🤣
Although, it turns out, yes, with two awards, she should have been among the favorites, but the third season is so weak that no one even considered Zina seriously.
What are you, what are you, which one should I buy? It's all thanks to the "excellent acting". In general, everything at all these awards is extremely crystal clear and has never been bought.
a) I watched the series.
b) if it didn't seem to me that it was somehow no longer relevant this year😬
I'm not ashamed of my choice.😎
Well, Zendaya is probably on her promo tours, preparing for the wedding, and what else did she have going on and forgot that this year's Emmys)
But as was rightly noted above, it is unlikely that she sheds tears - there are two Emmys, there is money for a spider.
""Plur "" should have been the best series instead of "Pitt," in my opinion, a great and original series, and Ray deserved it for "Saul," and finally she got it. Actually, I don't understand how a series that lost both the direction and the script for the second year in a row wins the "series of the year" award. It's such a wake-up call for "Pitt", I think the third season may well be in the air.
If the audience cheers, Pitt will pick up the nomination next year. If the season doesn't surprise you with anything new (for example, more night shifts), then yes, maybe the degree will drop and they will give way to someone else.
UPD Zendaya got so caught up with things that she decided to send her husband and Halle Berry a Catwoman sample instead.🤣🤣🤣
I have voted in many nominations based on the opinions of the majority, podcasters, critics, and other awards before that; collectively, what I have heard and read.
It's a pity that you didn't have time to watch everything. It would be more interesting to vote for yourself... But probably if so, then not even half of it will match.
We vote with our mercantile soul :)
"But"this is a real comedy:
Best Direction in a Drama Series — Saul Metzstein, "Slow Horses"
Best Writing in a Drama Series — Vince Gilligan, "Out of Many"
By the fourth season, the horses had turned into a creepy, indistinct soap, where was the direction? Well, as for the scenario of the Plume... Well, he was there, yes
"Well, "there are no questions about Matthew Rhys at all, just the contrast of roles in "The Beast" and "The Bay" shows how cool he played in both series.
This is the second time, by the way. This year, "Mr. Nobody..." also won the Oscar in documentaries, but it could not be included in the voting at the Mayshous. And here it is again. This is a direct harbinger of victory already.
But it's a shame for Hunnam, imho they took a potentially well-deserved reward from under his nose. Although I only saw Rhys in "The Bay" and he played well there, it's quite difficult to judge in the nomination for best actor in a miniseries/anthology.
