Edgar Ramirez vs. Mandy Moore: Peacock revealed a teaser for the second season of the "Dr. Death" series

Streaming service Peacock has released a teaser for the second season of "Dr. Death", an anthology based on the Wondery Studios podcasts of the same name. The first season of the show was about surgeon Christopher Duntsch, who maimed and killed patients.

In the center of the plot of the new chapter of the project will be a charismatic surgeon Paolo Macchiarini. He became known for his innovative synthetic organ transplants and worked at the Karolinska Institutet, one of the most respected medical institutions in the world.

Journalist Benita Alexander decided to do a report on Paolo. But in the course of her investigation, her life changes dramatically, and she discovers how far Paolo is willing to go to keep secrets and success. Meanwhile, a group of doctors on the other side of the world makes a shocking discovery that calls into question all of Paolo's activities.

Edgar Ramirez and Mandy Moore played the lead roles in the new season. The premiere of the second part of the show, consisting of eight episodes, is scheduled for December 21, the same day Peacock will release the documentary"Dr. Death: Cutthroat Conman", which will tell the story of the rise and fall of Paolo Macchiarini.
