@al_topchiy: not always ) It 's enough to read Forrest Gump or the Mysterious Story of Benjamin Button ) Well, this is my opinion, and you can find a bunch of film adaptations better than the original book)

@al_topchiy: King has a characteristic feature: his books are damn interesting, but the author's style of presentation is not the best). In other words, the plots are gorgeous, the characters are bright and interesting, the scenes are super, but the writing is often clumsy and not very readable. This applies to the original texts, so even the best translators do not save). And film adaptations of such authors are periodically at least as good as books. But this is my opinion, I may be wrong😅

@nesswwl: no one will ever surpass.. Previously, movies were shot really for the sake of art, but now.. " If you stick sticks in the shit, it won't become a hedgehog from this " (c) folk wisdom..

@pilot94: maybe you don't watch the author's movies, and you think that now only box office films are being shot or comedies for TNT??
Previously, slag was also sometimes removed - in the same years when all these classic films were released, a whole bunch of shitty films were released. This is a cognitive distortion that used to do everything awesome, but now everything is shit, because the classics are units of the same shit, which is full at all times - it's like that in any industry, even movies, even music, even books. It's just that you watch, listen and read from those times only " selected" for you by that generation of people who called it "classics ", and from modern times you see the entire "layer of content that has not been processed by time ".

There is no "Blade Runner ", but this is a cult film that became mega-popular after a failure at the box office.

I would add here "Forrest Gump " and "All or Nothing" (a remake of "The Longest Yard ", with A. Sandler).
And I wouldn't add anything else - otherwise I'd have to write a list of 100+ movies)))

Матрицу и Достучаться до небес можно пересматривать снова и снова, а вот насчет остального списка не уверен. Но фильмы все равно крутые конечно.
