"Young Sheldon" spin-off will be called "Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage"

CBS has released the debut teaser for the spin-off of the "Young Sheldon" spin-off series, which will be about Georgie and Mandy. The video revealed the title of the upcoming project is "Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage".

In the new series, Georgie, Sheldon's older brother, and his fiancée Mandy will build a family in Texas, overcoming the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage. The main characters will again be played by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment.

Recall that in the series finale of "The Big Bang Theory", Sheldon, who won the Nobel Prize, says that he was congratulated by his ex-wife Georgie and another ex-wife Georgie. In a recent interview with TVLine, Montana Jordan and Emily Osment hoped that the upcoming spin-off could somehow explain and change Georgie's family history.

"I’m hoping that I’m the ex-wife and the new wife. People get divorced and remarried. Why can’t she be both", — said Osment.

The script for the new project was written by "Young Sheldon" co-creators Steven Molaro and Chuck Lorre, along with the project's showrunner Steve Holland. The sitcom will premiere in the fall.
