I love Hafsa, I love Bertani even more, but as I understand it, he will have the role of the antagonist and the third extra here, but it's a pity, I would look at their tandem as the main couple.
Kubilai somehow passed by, I don't really like it, and so far he doesn't seem to pull on GG
