A good plausible and generally thought-out plot. Quite vital, but dramatic stories, ragged police routine and detailed images. And they play well. The characters, especially the central ones, turned out to be touching and very lively. The main character is a tragically harsh mature man with a sad experience and a past, with a not particularly happy present, with a difficult and nervous job and troubles in his personal life. The employees who found themselves under his command are also not one-dimensional at all, each with her own character, motives and background. At the same time, the interpersonal relationships of the team are shown unobtrusively, they do not interfere with the detective side of the series, but only add realism and give place to emotions other than the anxious and gloomy intense searches for bloody maniacs.
It was also shot and mounted qualitatively, thoroughly, not quickly, but also not calmly-measured, the mood is well conveyed. The picture matches, no gingerbread houses and postcard landscapes. Even the sun is almost gone, in my opinion. At the exit we have a good-quality kind of overcast-sad detective without embellishment, with an interesting intrigue, sad crimes and convincing actors.
You can view this procedural, unless there is nothing to do. He clearly lacks intrigue and tension. Not the best example of the genre - we've seen much more catchy things.
