Overview

When cheerleader Brooke and unpopular journalist Sam, girls on the opposite ends of the school hierarchy, find themselves forced to make nice, it's a culture clash of epic proportions. When Brooke's father meets Sam's mother on a cruise and become engaged, the girls are forced to reside in the same house, and their groups of friends are forced to socialize. Their groups of friends include smart-but-socially-awkward Harrison, popular quarterback Josh, power-hungry cheerleader Nicole and bubbly (but not-too-bright) cheerleader Mary.

It's a pity that this unfinished show is over.

According to Ryan Murphy, Brooke will be fine in season 3, which was planned. It was her that Harrison chose. Sam realizes that she is a lesbian (this is an unexpected twist). Nicole will be charged with attempted murder, but she will be able to get out. And Mary Cherry will end up in a dog shelter, where her dad Rupaul abandoned her after the orphanage. And her twin sister BiHo will be shot.

I would really like to know how the fate of all the characters turned out. "Popular" is a very funny, warm and soulful show that will be remembered for a long time. I believe that all the characters are doing well in their universe.

Damn, and for this I decided to review it? I remember being shown on STS as a teenager, I remember that I didn't watch it, I decided to watch it, but it turns out I watched everything...

Although since this episode, the level of delirium has gone through the roof. Before that, the series had successfully teetered on the edge, adding a moderate amount of grotesque to what was happening. But in this series (and in subsequent ones), the authors' sense of taste has changed.
Now I'm not surprised that the series was shut down after the second season.
