It's incredibly funny to read such comments on the series, which became the basis for a whole romantic subgenre of Sentinel-verse, in which literally thousands of works are written in all languages, including BL XDDD. The Korean manhwa alone is worth something.
I'm not talking about the number of fanfiction about the two main characters, the earliest of which were written in these very "holy 90s"...))))
