Ronin Warriors

Well, what can I say - a classic is a classic. Connoisseurs of modern anime may disagree with me, but the diversity of the 80s and 90s is a real phenomenon, something completely unusual and beautiful in its own way. This series is an example of that. It's pleasing to the eye, has an interesting and well-thought-out plot, but the main thing that hooked me was the music. The soundtrack is great, and that says it all - I've listened to Stardust Eyes and Samurai Heart a million times, but I'm not tired of any of the songs (I'm currently typing a comment for the latter). Moriguchi Hiroko is an excellent performer, whose voice I personally associate with high-quality anime of an entire era (I'm sure those who prefer classics will understand what I'm talking about, her work is not limited to the Ronin Warriors soundtrack).

After the sequel was released in '26, I decided to check out the prequel. It looks like a great classic anime from the 90s, let's see what happens in the end)

The project was difficult. It didn't seem to be a bad start, and in the end she accelerated powerfully, but the same type of fights just really reduced everything to boredom. Maybe this is also due to the fact that there is no normal voice acting.

But I watched the project in order to better understand its sequel, which was released in 2026, so it's not bad. As a separate project, it's already a bit heavy.
