Overview

The series follows the exploits of Ryo Saeba, a "sweeper" who is always found chasing beautiful girls and a private detective who works to rid Tokyo of crime, along with his associate or partner, Hideyuki Makimura. Their "City Hunter" business is an underground jack-of-all-trades operation, contacted by writing the letters "XYZ" on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station. One day, Hideyuki is murdered, and Ryô must take care of Hideyuki's sister, Kaori, a tomboy who becomes his new partner in the process. However, Kaori is very susceptible and jealous, often hitting Ryo with a giant hammer when he does something perverted. The story also follows the behind-the-scenes romance between Ryo and Kaori and the way they cooperate throughout each mission.

I've been planning to watch this series for a long time, and, as it turned out, for good reason - each episode pleases with an interesting story, beautiful drawings and wonderful music. The immoral behavior of the main character, in my opinion, somewhat spoils the impression, but this is not essential.

The drawing of this series is just great! The only thing that spoils the mood is that Saeko shamelessly deceived Ryo again - no, really, it's not funny anymore!

This series can be very harsh.

In this episode, the end was fair, otherwise it's just a pity - he's wasting so much effort! Joke. In fact, I liked the billiard theme the most, the games were played very realistically and interestingly.

That's a bummer! Sometimes the humor in this anime can surprise you a little... But for the most part, the jokes here are flat and vulgar.
