A very typical shojo with a very atypical decency bonus. At the head of us, as it should be, is a girl around whom a crowd of bisenens is scurrying (considering that there are a lot of episodes, there are just a lot of bisenens, but somehow I immediately fell for him and only loved him to the end). The girl is smart, beautiful, from a decent family, and even embroiled in all possible palace intrigues. Oh yes, I forgot to say that the action takes place in medieval Japan/In China, where everyone wears beautiful traditional clothes, the world is ruled (as it should be) by a stupid emperor, there are also robbers, wars, palace coups, missing heirs and so on. In general, the presence of only one girl (the rest do not stay longer than 2-5 episodes) is a little annoying, everything is too unnatural (although what am I, shojo). But the presence of anime politics is ennobling, sycophancy and "fake romance" fade into the background, leaving a good plot in the first place. Sometimes it looks like a detective story, because the heroes are mostly state inspectors who nail "bad officials". Everything is divided into arches, quite interesting and thought out. But the tightness catches the eye, everything is very slow. They walk slowly, they talk slowly, the camera moves slowly across the backdrop, everything is soooooooooooooooooooooo. I also didn't like the finale, 80 episodes to muddy the water and never show it transparent!
Nevertheless, there is a very good anime on the total mass, and for a shojo-harem there is a chocolate bar at all!

it's a very good ending))) I liked how the main characters grew up. their feelings have also become somewhat different, more meaningful, or something. It's probably true that the higher your position, the more lonely you are. it's really important to have a person who looks at you, not at your titles, merits and other husks))

Aaaaah, how stubborn they are. I will be rooting for the emperor. I wish Shurei would turn her affairs around so that she could come straight to him)) then it would be ideal :)

Unfortunately, the first season is much more interesting than the second.

I was crying. I liked this red-haired bastard so much that I couldn't hold back the tears. I understand that you can't order your heart and all that, but it's kind of hard to watch him suffer. an intelligent man who has lost interest in life. but how cool love can change everything :)
