Shakespeare. Sonnet 116
To interfere with the union of two hearts
I don't intend to. Can cheating
To put an end to immeasurable love?
Love knows no loss and no decay.
Love is a lighthouse raised above the storm,
Never fading in the gloom and fog.
Love is the star that the sailor
Defines a place in the ocean.
Love is not a pathetic doll in your hands
The time that erases roses
On flaming lips and cheeks,
And she is not afraid of such threats.

What if I'm wrong and my verse is lying?,
There is no love, and there are no poems of mine!

Aah, it's a masterpiece. Since childhood, I've loved The Taming of the Shrew since 1980, and now I can safely add this version with the original Shakespearean title to the collection. I've already watched it 5 times and I'm still laughing out loud.

The hardest, most interesting and dramatic series💔

McAvoy is great, a real ACTOR! And to match his Macbeth, his wife (Keeley Hawes) is perfectly chosen and played, in the finale all the nerves are in a ball. 😭

Oh yes, there's also Richard Armitage, a very pleasant surprise.)

The only episode that seemed long-winded and with a slack in the middle, but in general it's not bad, you can take a look once, I won't review the previous three adaptations.
I liked the playful Pack, there is something subtly charming about it))
