Terminator Salvation: The Machinima Series

When a more dynamic episode appeared, you feel more relaxed about the technical implementation. But unfortunately, there are also terribly written dialogues here. People don't communicate like that. Against this background, it's funny to hear the characters repeat several times during the series: "You even talk like a machine." Yes, that's exactly what it looks like, that's right.

If we evaluate this as a game world, then the locations in the spirit of Fallout 3 and Mad Max are not bad, although they are terribly outdated even in 2009. Meanwhile, Blair abruptly changes her attitude towards the hero, but there were no prerequisites for this. And now she is ready to sacrifice her life for him, most recently wondering if she should kill him.

Blair couldn't figure out the meaning of the flashbacks. Either this means her failure due to loss of communication, or else for some mysterious reason she could not press the button on the plane, but for some reason they show it to us. But like logical, game conventions, all this fades into the background when a cliffhanger appears in such a "project".

The final episode looks noticeably more cheerful and interesting than the rest. In terms of setting and camera angles, this is probably the best thing that could be squeezed out of such a game engine. It even turned out to add drama. However, this does not negate the main thing - even though it is an igrofilm, the quality of the script and dialogues should be interesting. But it was boring, painful, and even if we consider the short film as a bridge between the original and the game, we couldn't get interested.

Blair, who in the original film was ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of a terminator with human characteristics, finds a hacker very valuable for resistance. And while he is being attacked by machines, she is thinking with absolutely indifferent facial expressions (she is not here in general) - to save him or let him be destroyed? At least there are more dynamics.
