Serena gets scared when she sees the truck, but she manages to get to the hacienda. Serena tells the foreman that she wants to get to Sao Paulo. He tells her that she doesn't have enough money and advises her to work at the fazenda for a while. The girl is put to work as a cook. Rafael arrives at the party accompanied by Felipe, who is surprised to meet Mirella, Olivia's grown-up daughter, again. Felipe and Gumersindu keep an eye on Mirella. Serena runs after Tere, while he is surrounded by two older boys, who take the bag and threaten to beat him. Serena manages to scare the guys away and take the bag back. Kristina is relieved to learn that Rafael did not show his flowers to Madalena. Adelaidi notices this and suspects that Christina is in love with Rafael. Kristina tells her mother that she will put a scarf with traces of lipstick in Raul's pocket. Elias asks Katya why she didn't meet him when she arrived in the city. Serena searches for Cousin Kleidy's address and finds Divine and Oswald's boarding house. Tere tells Serena that he does not want to go to boarding school with her, as he is afraid of being treated badly because of poverty. Serena asks Tere to stay in Roseyral and promises to find a way to help him. The boy agrees.

Olivia tells Vera that she found a handkerchief with lipstick in Raul's pocket, and declares that she will find out who his mistress is. Serena is very upset that she didn't get the job. Tere tells the half-breed that he is thinking of leaving because he has not found a place to stay. Abiliu tells Rafael that Cristina is faithful and devoted, that he should consider marrying her. Deborah advises her daughter to hire Serena, because it's better to have a maid who doesn't like Rafael. Serena asks Elio to help Tera. Elio suggests Tera hide in an abandoned warehouse. Myrna offers her services at the club, and Katya takes her to work. Zulmira tells Serena that Kristina has changed her mind and decided to accept her. Vera suggests that Olivia follow Raul. Olivia keeps an eye on Raul, but thinks he's innocent after seeing him enter the church. Delilah and Raul sneak out of the church through another door. Serena hears the music and enters Luna's studio. She sees in the mirror how her reflection has transformed into the image of the Moon.
