Overview
The high school students in Kimi to Boku. consider their school life to be anything but exciting. A repetitive journey through classes, arguments, and orientations for future careers that seem way too distant. But with the right group of friends, time can be made to move a little faster.
Four high school boys, who have known each other since childhood, hang out together in school every day. There's the handsome twins Yuuki and Yuuta Asaba, the gentle Shun Matsuoka, and the calm class head Kaname Tsukahara. Although they have become used to a lack of excitement in their lives, the addition of a new transfer student, Chizuru Tachibana, who is half German and half Japanese, may add a little more adventure to their routine. With his energetic personality and stories from a distant country, Chizuru may be able to light up the dull atmosphere of the group.

But "Kimi to boku" became some kind of amazing discovery. I don't know why I used to persistently postpone watching it, but it's for the best, such a charm needs to be "stretched" in order to really enjoy it.
It would seem, well, what could be simpler than the cliched "childhood friends and their daily lives within the walls of school and beyond"?!
However, this anime has become the only one on my list so far with such ambiguous, beautiful and sad, and, above all, unconventional romantic lines. One falls in love with a girl who stares at his friend, the other two are generally mired in feelings for older girls. The ending of all these lines is open. But then again, romance is absolutely not the main component of the series. First of all, this is friendship, friendship for the ages, relationships between peers, growing up, caring for loved ones, teenage problems, choosing a future life path. All this and much more is laced with a slight comedic note, although, in my opinion, there is still a significant predominance of the dramatic part. It's sad that the anime didn't get a sequel (for 2016), I'll definitely start reading manga. Thanks to the creators and.... "everything will work out. Just don't give up."
It would be better if the stories were exclusively about boys, all the humorous moments in any case only with them in the plot.
