Unbelievable! I'm watching a 60s TV series in English, and I really like it! Nothing to do with the old movies that I've come across so far - no excessive pathos, a completely natural game. After all, they could if they wanted to! At the same time, the scenario is remarkable from the point of view of historicity, there are no gross blunders and ridiculous conjectures, there is no "black and white" - each side has its own truth. And the gallantry of the century is shown, despite censorship. GG - such a sensual man... 0_0 Is this really a 1969 movie?! Bravo!
And it's a shame for our people that such a masterpiece has not yet been translated into Russian. -_-

Yeah, how they missed extras for battle scenes...))) It seems that there are ten people in each army. Was it really difficult to recruit ordinary people from the street?

I feel sorry for Monmouth, too... and James (James II) is more to be pitied. Great actor!
