Overview

The story is set several centuries into the slow decline of mankind. Earth has now become the realm of "fairies" — 10-centimetre-tall creatures with remarkable intelligence and an appetite for sweets. The human protagonist of the story serves an important duty as the international arbitrator between the fairies and humans, and she returns to her former hometown of Kusunoki. She chose this job because she thought it was an easy job she can do, even when she is as old as her grandfather. However, she learns that her job is anything but simple when she meets the fairies.

Initially, based on the description and comments to the anime, I thought that my favorite mix was waiting for me - Kaiba and The Journey of Cinema, only in bright colors, but in fact Gintama came out in gloomy ones.… This is a satire where, as it should be, the sins of modern humanity are ridiculed, depicting the reasons for its decline. The gnomes themselves can be described as a metaphor for the modern generation, which, taking advantage of today's opportunities, feverishly picks up any trend and drives it to insanity. The plot is a bit non-linear, the narrative is not homogeneous, as if the beginning, the end and the middle were handled by different screenwriters, although in theory it can be characterized as arcs. But their placement is not logical, because in the beginning we are shown the end, and in the end the beginning. On the other hand, because of this, everything ends on a very warm note.
I liked the drawing, such sketches / sketches, a world of blurred shapes that will never gain clarity and expression, because around sunset and decline.

Cute fairies don't stop delivering.
The fairy with the narcotic plant is stupidly the best.

One of my favorite episodes! The heroine is amazing, of course. It suited her very well to be a Queen.

Rapture is rapture. It remains only to laugh at the merciless satire that is taking place. And it looks like this is just the beginning of the fun!

A beautiful finale and a beautifully executed tonal transition from the general cynicism of the rest of the arches. Shuffling the arches, it seems to me, worked wonderfully. The last meeting of the fairy who fulfilled her wish with the main character is touching to the point of tears.
It's just a magnificent satire in half with a pretty surreal about an almost extinct humanity. The main success, of course, is just being honest, how am I supposed to be without her? This is love forever. As in the eternally smiling fairies (you want to cuddle them, just like them), who are naturally the best. Nano.RIPE's OP "Real World" is adorable, impossible to miss, and I can't wait to sing (dance) "papapara-papapara" together every time. I liked it so much that I want to buy a ranobe, I hope I can find all the volumes.
