Overview
The story is set in Japan a millennium from now. Five children—the protagonist Saki, Satoru, Maria, Mamoru, and Shun—have been born and raised in a tranquil town that can be described as a utopia, overflowing with water and green foilage.
After a certain incident, Saki and the others come to realize the true nature of their world. The five throw themselves into life-threatening adventure and fighting to protect friends and a world on the brink of collapse.

For the first half of the anime, you can sit and not know what's going on and whether something worthwhile is going to happen, for which you can continue to watch. I'll say that yes, it will, and it's definitely worth watching.
I feel sorry for everyone. And the antagonists (after watching all the episodes), and the protagonists. And the world is unusual with its shifts (people and their rules). Positive and negative emotions appear.
I also like its realism (in its own way). There are no "I suddenly have a power that I didn't have before, and I will save everyone" or "I will save someone with my screams, pleas, and thoughts." The deaths of the characters are very real, and so are their actions. That is, if such a situation were happening in the world, it would be one of the most realistic behaviors of people.
I think my thoughts will always tremble when I remember this anime.
Let's see what happens. It's intriguing :)
