If it weren't for the bloody axe of the NKVD in every episode (it gets to the point where it's not even clear why fascists were needed in the Great Patriotic War, the red-feathered types coped on their own) the series would be just fire. The moral values of the heroes are in question. Well, the obvious superiority of the Aryan race, all more or less sane and adequate characters have German roots. But the series is interesting.
