Despite their age, sores, and cockroaches in their heads, a team of retired retired detectives famously solves the most complex, long-dead cases. Old people give the heat to envy and surprise the young.
The rather dubious idea of the police authorities to assemble a small unit of retired detective veterans turned out to be an excellent scenario solution. Experienced detectives, very mature men, each with their own long-established character, habits and quirks, find themselves subordinated to an ambitious, but annoyingly scandalized blonde. It turned out to be a surprisingly effective team and room for a wide variety of collisions. There are a lot of funny situations, jokes and funny adventures, and the cases under investigation are complicated, and though old, they are interesting.
It was shot very modestly, one might say on a budget, no special effects, complicated filming or expensive decorations. However, it looks with great pleasure. Very cute characters. A funny, light, ironic and positive detective series. An extremely successful song in the screensaver sets the mood perfectly. (“It's Alright It's Ok” is performed by Denis Waterman, one of those oldies)
Language. They speak quite naturally, in a lively language, but not too difficult. There are many different accents, they are noticeable, but quite understandable, especially with subtitles.
