It's a stunningly beautiful series. Especially landscapes, computer graphics, whatever, the actors are also different, but here's the landscape part...It's indescribable!

I like the emphasis on the fact that without some key events or inventions, our world could be different. I've always hated the expression "History doesn't know the subjunctive mood," because it's so interesting to think and reason about it)
What a beautiful Siddhartha)))

A boring series. Is Ermak's story really so important that it was chosen? Like tulips, it's also not the first time I've heard and don't understand the signs.

On the one hand, it was nice to see Kiev, the Lavra, the Dnieper, people specially came and filmed all this, but...2012, the BBC, the documentary, and Kievan Rus is still Russia, seriously??? Already in the second documentary edition, I see how the theory of the origin of Russia from the Vikings is presented as the only true, proven and not even causing any doubts, while in Russian history this is just one of the versions. Such negligence and disregard are upsetting.
It was interesting to look at the siege of Constantinople and the history of the creation of the Last Supper.
