It's great that Merle was finally shown, otherwise she was like Columbo's wife, a mythical character.

And I didn't understand the meaning of the man at the end. As if he was there for a reason, but I didn't get it.

Seeing how someone with the same introductory life turned out better is certainly hard, so you can understand Schotty.
It happens even to the best of us. 😅
