"Shelter" immediately reminded me, but in general it is quite interesting, although I have not read the book. But why horror is indicated in the genres is not clear. Mysticism, yes, but not horror.

and I really liked the series... moderately intense, dramatic, and the actors are very good. the plot is fascinating and the ending is so .... understandable...

God, what a gorgeous gloomy and frightening atmosphere of a provincial town.! it is impossible not to mention the actors: here we have both Lucifer and Arya Stark) I will definitely look further.
