The series made a strong impression. Through the story of one Jewish family, it is shown how gradually people were deprived of their homes, rights, and life itself. It's especially scary to see that it all started with minor prohibitions and humiliations, and ended with camps and gas chambers. This makes you think that tragedy is possible not only because of cruelty, but also because of the indifference of others. After watching, there is a heaviness, but also an understanding that such stories must always be remembered.

The series was impressive. Two families - Jewish and German. Some live a normal life, others build a career in the Nazi system. The Weiss enjoy life, but step by step they face limitations and humiliations. Dorf calmly accepts the Nazi rules for the sake of profit.

The series is like an introduction: it still looks mundane, but disaster is looming, and that's what makes a strong impression.
