Instructor: Claire considers exercise to be a punishment, not a benefit. When she starts enjoying her workouts, it will ease her stress.
------
Instructor: Claire gained 5 kilos in 4 days. That means she had a serious breakdown. And I'm not happy with her. But at the same time, I understand that sometimes disruptions are necessary. It is necessary to reach the very bottom in order for changes to occur.
------
Claire: Until you start achieving results, you won't be able to see yourself differently. You won't be sure if you're worthy of it. I deserve the same as everyone else.

Liz: If I get fatter, I'll go to the circus.
Liz's husband: She's the first one to laugh at herself, probably because she thinks: "If they're laughing at me, it's better if I laugh at myself first, then everything won't seem so bad."".
--------
Liz: It's my fault how the kids look and how they eat, because I'm the one putting food on their plates. But I never tell them to finish everything, as they told me when I was a kid.
Liz's husband: I did.
Liz: Really?
Liz's husband: Ask the kids. If someone said, "I don't want to," you'd say, "finish it," or "eat a little more and then you can go about your business." You made them eat.
LIZ: Yes, you're right. I'm the wet nurse.

@deityrox: I'm sorry, it's Bev, not Liz. With my other comments on the series, the same mistake is possible due to the title of the series.

Bev about her husband (with irony): My husband is a real Welsh farmer. If I had mumbled or bleated, he would have paid more attention to me.
-----
Instructor: The best reward is your joy. So don't do anything that will make you unhappy. If you eat an apple or a salad, you will be proud of yourself. Now you need to create a foundation, gain strength and accumulate knowledge.
-----
[the trainer gave Bev dumbbells equal to the weight she had lost and asked her to walk with them. Bev gets tired and abandons them]
The instructor: You've lost that weight. This is something your body had to struggle with every day. No wonder you were always sitting. Your body refused to overexert itself. You want to give up, but you've moved on and you'll keep going.
