Overview

There's Rentarou, a 21 year old good for nothing dropped out of college guy, who calls himself a private detective. And there are the Shirogane Twins from the first Futakoi series, Sara and Souju who kind of "work" as his assistants. This is where the action, comedy and misadventures start and lead our trio from one pinch into the next.

This anime is a fucking farce.
It can't decide what it wants to be. Either it's a crime comedy, or it's an action comedy, or it's a drama. When it seems to you that you are used to one side of this anime and are already beginning to get into it, you think "Well, now the authors will develop in this direction anyway and the animation will be good", as the creators are like "No, fuck you, now this anime will go differently"
And it kind of prevents me from falling in love with this title, and it annoyed me personally.
The anime has colorful characters, there are interesting moments, but... They don't come together from the word at all. It feels very strongly that there shouldn't be one series here, but at least two.:
1. A romantic drama where a detective and his assistants had to understand each other's feelings and overcome the inevitable wedding of one of the sisters or, conversely, lose this situation by reaching a sad ending. (Honestly, when the drama started in the anime, I was ready to forgive all the shoals, as long as it was pulled through and done properly)
2. A carbon monoxide comedy about the showdown of the mafia, "dirty cops" and a clumsy detective, seasoned with a conspiracy to turn people into squids.
In general, I do not know who this animeshka can go to. In the first season, there was a naive romantic comedy from beginning to end, but here there is some kind of ridiculous craft.
Total: I'm not going to say "Don't watch", just ask yourself the question "Do I have nothing to watch from anime anymore? Have you mastered all the classics inside out? Have you looked at all the recommendations?" If the answer to at least two questions is "Yes", then take up this title.
