I wasn't very impressed with the beginning of the second season, probably because of the high expectations after the vigorous first one. The newly assembled team has dimmed somewhat: there are fewer heroes, and the charismatic Mathias Varela has been replaced by a clearly less experienced actor, while retaining the character's name! The plot of the first case turned out to be somewhat secondary: this had already been seen in Scandinavian TV series. I hope it gets more interesting!

This episode is going to be more interesting.

It is quite possible that the twists and turns of the plot and the oversaturation of events will seem rather naive by the standards of a detective. However, I have an aftertaste from watching this episode - like from modern Italian ironic detective stories. Not Gomorrah with a Subura, of course, or Scandinavian neo-noir. Memorable characters, good cast, revealing characters from the very first episode, high-quality acting. Their teamwork, warm relationships, and humanity are in contrast to the killer's extreme individualism.

This Kirstin is tired of her men, and there's some kind of drama with everyone, and she loves everyone, and she's upset about everyone. She makes me sick.

Is the department going to be disbanded? Such an intrigue at the end...
