Yes, cranberries are present here in sufficient quantity and there are questions about the script.
But the wonderful hand-drawn intro and the incomparable acting of Molina and Keaton outweigh it.
The Old Man's nieces from the early seventies to the nineties, and for twenty years, have not matured a single month. Vampires, probably.
The flags are upside down. Of course, how can you remember the flag of your main opponent on the world stage? Complicated...
And yes, the bad guys won this time.
About my daughter. The Englishwoman's daughter was taken away from her almost in infancy and they are allowed to see each other only once (!) a year (!). Two questions: what is the point of allowing such meetings once a year (is there pressure from the world community?), and how is it even possible that a separated mother is still in infancy a girl who sees her once a year happily greets her mother (already in a refugee camp), as if she spends 364 days a year in solitary confinement?
